Women who choose to work in the sex industries are frequently and most usually perceived as victims, and yet these same women are not helped or assisted as other “victims” are provided for.
At CKS we do not view, believe or treat participants of the sex industries as victims.
Certainly we are not blind to the exploitation and abuse of some sections of this industry.  CKS will encourage women who have a pimp, women on drugs or other substance abuse, and women who have been trafficked to contact the relevant charities and groups that are set up to help them. CKS is not for those women.

CKS serves the empowered sex worker.  Most often we serve the sex worker who has chosen this industry to realise her own power and worth and assist her by providing knowledge of the industry, financial and legal assistance, a peer group, health awareness, motivation/support as well as much lighter lifestyle services.
CKS does not want to encourage women into the sex industries, and also does not encourage a lengthy directionless foray in the industry.
However unlike other “charities” and help groups, CKS works towards this goal via empowerment, non-judgment and knowledge. We acknowledge that the overriding factor in entering the sex industry is money, usually easy quick cash.  For this reason we have financial products that assist the woman in planning, investing and legally structuring her income so that she may move away from living on the margins of society financially and work towards the financial goals she can believe for herself.
